JCTC Food Drive Warms Hearts and Fills Bellies
We have said it before, but the matter bears repeating: Jefferson Community and Technical College is our neighbor both geographically and in vision. Many students in our College and Career Program attend classes at JCTC and one of our staff members sits on three of the school’s advisory committees. There is indeed a spirit of cooperation between the mission and our local community college. Recently, Mary Keffer from the Respiratory Care department organized a food drive that yielded nine hundred cans of food. As we serve some two thousand meals daily, this food drive is welcomed and appreciated. Both the mission and the school seek to eradicate ignorance and want from our community. By working as a team, much good can be accomplished.
